It's February?

Seriously?

So the groundhog saw it's shadow--that means 6 more weeks of winter! Wait a minute, winter? Yeah, winter.  This has been the AWESOME-est winter EVER!!  (until the city enforces watering regulations this coming summer).

'Tis the season of love! L-O-V-E! Have your pupils dilated to be heart-shaped? Can you feel the love in the air all around? Do you catch yourself day dreaming about your wonderfully, good looking, lover? Thought about how you're going to celebrate Valentine's Day with your special Valentine (wink, wink)? Have you written innumerable sonnets and lengthy love letters to your one and only? Remember crafting Valentines for the boys and girls at school with pink, white and red construction paper...and if you were really creative using heart-shaped paper doilies, too?  Oh! and Valentine boxes! We used to go ALL out (I think there must have been an unspoken contest or something).  I can't wait to bake sugar cookies and frost them with pink, raspberry cream cheese icing. Delicious!

President's Day is to be observed Monday, February the 20th. Have made any plans for that weekend?

Oh, and the 29th is Leap Day--it only comes around every 4 years you know. Now, there's a good excuse to have a party!
