Earlier This Year - Part 2

If you live in Utah, you are well aware of the hype about the Solar Eclipse that happened in May.  I think it's pretty amazing that astronomers can pin point the best location and time that these cool events will occur!

Brian really wanted to view an actual Solar Eclipse so after church on Sunday, May 5th, we jumped in the car and drove to a tiny town called Marysville, Utah!  That little town finally got its debut!

There were all sorts of things for sale at the edge of town in a huge, empty field.  I really wanted a t-shirt that said "I got mooned in Marysville", but since it was the sabbath day we refrained from making any purchases.

There were folks all lined up on the edge of the highway going into town and on the way out of town--hilarious!!  We spotted the place where the true scientists were staked out with their ginormous telescopes.
