I remember the old adage, "In like a Lion, Out like a Lamb" and making paper craft lions and lambs in school. Usually, March is a month to look forward to because we've made it through February's cold temperatures and hoping for a little warmth in the weather (we all know that this year has been an exception).
And don't forget to smother yourself in green on St. Patrick's Day! When David was in 1st or 2nd grade, his class had a contest as to who could make the best Leprechaun trap. It was pretty funny! I like to remember the colorful rainbows and the shiny pot of gold at the end of the rainbow--that's where to catch a Leprechaun by the way.
Also, March is traditionally WINDY and a great season for kite flying! Hmmm....I think I will watch Mary Poppins today.
